Windsail - Windsail Platinum what’s the Difference

Windsail Platinum is a smoother and much more cleaner version of Winston Lights. That subtle 'Earthly' aftertaste on the smoke is nearly identical between the two. But, for the Winston Lights it was more of acidic, bitter type of 'Earthly' taste. With the Windsail Plat you can definitely notice the higher quality. It's more of a pleasant type of robust aftertaste. Wow describing smoke is pretty hard. If you never had Winston's before its a decent cig as far as pre-mades go and like American Spirit it was additive free.

I would imagine the "bitter, Earthly taste" is the Burley in Winstons, a tobacco WP is without being a straight Virginia. Well, that would be a big part of the equation I bet.

hi you guys, been a while! just want to say im using a blend of vengeur plat 75% and windsail 25% is about as close as ive come to a real kinda store bought yet 'edgy' taste yet. nice and like real yet still very american at the same time. affordable, a bit of a pain to roll but every bit worth the effort. hope everyone is doin good and enjoyin this hot wet summer. i know my peppers and tomatos sure are! rclear666 out

i've use windsail platinum for awhile now and like it...last order was in june 09.. 5 bags
$130.00 suddently looked different, no taste, and lots and lots of wood. contacted
trisha's cafe .. they gave me the song and dance abt government regs..and when i
insisted on the negative aspects of last order they then said perhaps i had received
a bad batch...ok...i then responded with " perhaps a replacement of my order due to
it being a bad batch". got NO response....silence...
very frustrated.

That's why I like P&C. Two orders ago I ordered a 3.5 oz cup of S.J. Rimboche to give it a try (it rocks!). They charged me for 3.5 oz but sent a full 14 oz bag instead. I called them up and pointed out that they made a mistake and I offered to pay the difference. Thier response was that it was their mistake and no extra charge! Christmas came early this year

I wonder just how many of these shipping mistakes P&C is making. Last month I wanted to try a 16oz bag of their bulk Windsail pipe cut so I ordered it. What arrived was a factory pack 14oz standard bag of D&R Windsail. Those I already have and ordered just to find out about P&C's packaging and the bulk tobacco. When I contacted them they said I could send it back and they would replace it. Not being interested in investing more shipping dollars I just kept the stuff.

Now here the next time I log in I see another order filling "whoops" for them.

I will complain anytime a vendor sends me something different than what I ordered. And offers to kindly allow me to pay return shipping for their mistake.
